Glenn Ferrow’s introduction to the Acorn Foundation came via the Foundation’s first donor.
“I had been involved as a trustee of the estate and found it a relatively straightforward process. As a trustee, I was kept well informed of exactly how the funds were working and was pleased to know they were contributing to the local community.”
Glenn is now involved as a donor himself.
“Tauranga has been very good to me and my family and it is a real pleasure to be able to give something back to a community that has served us so well. My father has been involved in many charitable trusts so I understood those. The Acorn Foundation system is different but is simple and effective. It had been a success in the States and I thought there was no reason it wouldn’t be successful here.”
