ARRC Wildlife Trust

ARRC Wildlife Trust aims to improve the well-being of our communities’ wildlife, animals and natural environment. Each year we care for more than 700 birds and wildlife.

Founded in 2003, ARRC Wildlife Trust has been assisting the Department of Conservation, Vet clinics and public with the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife in the Bay of Plenty.

Passionate about caring for our native wildlife, ARRC works to educate and create public awareness in order to ensure the long-term health of our wildlife and their natural environment. In particular, we aim to educate children about environmental sustainability, conservation, animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

To this end we are proactive in presenting educational talks in our community and distributing our ARRC Kids Adventure Series Books. These are all based on true stories about the work that we do and provide interesting facts and action points on what people can do to help our wildlife.
