Nicky Wilkins - General Manager
Nicky Wilkins has worked as the Acorn Foundation General Manager since 2006.
Nicky has a marketing background and loves her work, being responsible for engaging the local community in considering philanthropy, and for maintaining donor relationships. She has been involved as a volunteer in local community groups for many years.
Nicky is married to a lawyer (Marcus) and they have four children.
Margot McCool - Operations Manager
Margot McCool joined the Acorn Foundation in 2008 and is responsible for the funding applications and distributions. Margot has a marketing background and enjoys the interaction with community groups. She is passionate about helping community groups to move towards self-determination by building endowment. Margot has been involved as a volunteer in many local community groups for many years.
Margot is married to John McCool and they have three children.
Jo Wilson - Administration Officer
Jo is the newest member of the Acorn team. Born on a farm in Morrinsville, she grew up in the Bay of Plenty and returned home with her young daughter in 2012 after 10 years working in the intellectual property field in Auckland. Jo completed a Legal Executive Diploma in 2014 and has spent the last three years overseeing events and membership with Enterprise Angels before joining the Acorn team.
