Jennifer Spencer

1941 - 2025

Jennifer Spencer moved to NZ from the UK with her husband, John, in 1965. After time spent in Wellington, Vancouver and Auckland, they chose to settle in Katikati, where they ran a 12-acre kiwifruit orchard before later building a home in the Kaimai hills. Jennifer worked as a pharmacist, while John was an early IT professional.

Following John’s death in 2005, Jennifer returned to the Bay of Plenty. She enjoyed walking, reading and staying connected to her family in the UK, supported through a family trust.
