Kath Christie

1930 - 2025

Kath was born into a farming family in the Waikato and carried those values with her throughout her life. After marrying Lloyd in 1953, she returned to the Waikato and later helped build up a rundown farm on Oropi Road in TGA.

She enjoyed an active lifestyle, with a love for golf, badminton and skiing, and strongly valued community and family. Kath and Lloyd celebrated 70 years of marriage in 2023, just before Lloyd passed away. They were proud parents, grandparents and were great-grandparents.
