The Acorn Foundation Junior Art Awards are now open!
With the wonderful support of the Acorn Foundation, our vision is to create an exceptional art experience for young creative minds, whilst engaging and inspiring our local community. The Acorn Foundation Junior Art Awards is open to children between 4 – 14 years of age who live in the Bay of Plenty region. The theme for the 2021 Art Awards is Te Taiao | Nature.
An Acorn donor couple recently committed to support a new initiative from the Tauranga Art Gallery starting in early 2021: The Acorn Foundation Junior Art Awards. With a vision to create an exceptional art experience for young creative minds, whilst engaging and inspiring our local community, the Junior Art Awards are open to children aged between 4 – 14 years who live in the Bay of Plenty region. The theme for the Art Awards 2021 is Te Taiao/Nature. This competition will be a biennial event, with the first exhibition taking place from 3 April 2021 to 2 May 2021 at the Tauranga Art Gallery.
