Acorn Foundation Annual General Meeting 2025
What a year it has been! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Acorn Foundation has been able to grant over $5.1 million to more than 300 local charities across the Western Bay of Plenty. Behind those numbers are real people and real stories: families supported, rangatahi given new opportunities, and community groups enabled to carry out their vital mahi.
The AGM is a chance for us to come together as a community—looking back on the year, sharing updates from our Board and Committees, and most importantly, celebrating the incredible impact your generosity is making across our region.
Highlights of the Evening
-
A special musical performance from talented players of the Opus Orchestra.
-
Charlotte Ward, recipient of the Acorn Foundation Beverly Perszyk Scholarship, will share how her studies are progressing .
-
Live for More – Hear from this Tauranga-based trust that supports disengaged youth through surf therapy, counselling, mentoring and cultural support.
-
Outflow Trust – Learn about their mission to protect our local environment by cleaning up beaches and waterways, and reducing sediment outflow into the ocean.
