The Tauranga District Riding for Disabled have a vision that every person is supported to live their life to their full potential. They provide therapeutic horse related activities for children and adults who are challenged by physical, mental and cognitive difficulties or who have social needs and who are at-risk within our community. These equestrian therapy programmes include horse riding, horsemanship and vocational skills opportunities. 

The Tauranga Riding for the Disabled programmes engage people to assist growth, confidence, independence and development of self-esteem, this services is provided to more than 160 riders per week, with a growing waiting list.
