About Cure Parkinson’s NZ

Cure Parkinson’s NZ is a charitable trust dedicated to advancing research that can lead to a cure for Parkinson’s disease. Their mission is “to shape and fuel effective research leading to a cure for Parkinson’s disease, namely, therapies that can slow, stop or reverse the progression of this insidious disease.” 

They recognise that Parkinson’s is currently the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, and that existing treatments relieve symptoms but cannot yet stop or reverse the disease.  Cure Parkinson’s NZ fundraises, collaborates with global research partners, and invests in promising drug-candidates, biomarkers, clinical trials and earlier diagnosis tools to change the future for people affected.
