Friends of Bethlehem College Scholarship
What a Community Group Fund is
A Community Group Fund with The Acorn Foundation offers a meaningful and sustainable way to support a local organisation for the long term. Your donation is invested alongside others; each year a portion of the investment returns is distributed to the chosen cause, while the original capital remains intact and continues working in perpetuity.
For the Friends of Bethlehem College Scholarship, this dependable structure means the fund delivers reliable income year after year, enabling it to provide consistent support for students. That stability allows the scholarship to be awarded annually, allows the fund to grow over time, and gives the organisers confidence to commit to future-year awards knowing the financial base is secure.
About Friends of Bethlehem College Scholarship
The Friends of Bethlehem College Scholarship was established by a group of past trustees and supporters of Bethlehem College, with the aim of assisting senior students who are preparing to enrol in full-time tertiary study in New Zealand the following year.
Students selected for the scholarship are those who demonstrate Christian service and leadership in their school and community life, and who reflect the values and goals of Bethlehem College. By supporting this Community Group Fund, you are investing in education, in young people who are committed to making a difference, and helping ensure that financial barrier does not stand in their way.
