House of Science is a community-led provider of innovative educational services in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty. Their focus is to raise scientific literacy in the Western Bay of Plenty and to encourage children and youth, regardless of socio-economic level or culture, to become more confident and lifelong learners.

House of Science provides high quality resources & programmes to schools and community groups. The resources are hands-on and fun, which improves young people’s interest and engagement in science. By working with schools and community groups, they aim to reach all children across every economic group, improving their self-esteem and confidence, increasing their motivation to learn new skills, and helping them think outside the square - ultimately helping them with future employment opportunities.
