Katch Katikati

Katch Katikati is an established organisation that aims to promote the Katikati area to the benefit of all sectors of the community, including local businesses and community organisations. It is their vision to have an active and creative community where locals love to live and visitors want to come back to.

Katch Katikati acts as an umbrella organisation, working across sectors to encourage collaboration and community development, while promoting Katikati as a ‘destination of choice’. It is largely a project-based organisation with a high degree of organisational expertise and experience regarding the planning and implementation of events.

The funding received from Acorn is allocated to support the running of The Arts Junction, the arts hub of Katikati. The facility houses the Visitor Information Centre, retail space, the Carlton Art Gallery and the Junction Theatre, a performance and event space which is available to the community for stage and musical performances, cinema, exhibitions, meetings and presentation events.
