The Clothing Project

The Clothing Project is a charity based on helping the most vulnerable members in our community; our children.

TCP takes a holistic approach in providing at risk and in need children with clothing. For its dedicated team of volunteers, it's always been about much more than simply providing clothing; it's about letting children and whanau know that they are loved and valued and that people in the community care about them.

TCP provides children in the Eastern Bay of Plenty with access to suitable clothing from the youngest (Newborns including small/premature babies) to 12 years of age by way of donations of pre-loved clothing from the community. This clothing is carefully sorted, washed and packaged into distinctive bags by dedicated volunteers and distributed out to families facing financial hardship.

In 2019 The Clothing Project received funding from The Tindall Foundation.
