CanTeen helps people aged 13-24 who are dealing with their own cancer, their parent's or sibling’s cancer, or the death of a parent or sibling.

CanTeen provides a wide range of support services so anyone can choose what’s right for them. All services are free of charge. Youth Workers are running activity days and events across Aotearoa where people can meet other young people in similar situations and get a break from cancer. They include everything from surfing and rock climbing to theatre trips, self-care workshops and online events.

CanTeen also runs a range of specialist three-day programmes to develop new skills to cope with cancer and have fun too.

Our specially trained staff can work with you over the phone or on Skype to help you deal with the daily stresses that cancer can bring. Counsellors are also available online or by phone seven days a week.

In 2020 CanTeen received funding from the Emergency Services Club Fund and the R & M McGowan Fund.
